If we look at any historical event we need to look at both the causes as well as the consequences. Like causes, we can organize them into long term and short term effects, as well as organzing them by theme (social, economic, political...etc). We can then evaluate whether this was a "successful" revolution or not!
Task
This lesson we will consider how much change happened as a result of the Russian Revolution. How much did peoples lives really improve? Was the situation after notably different to that before. Open a copy of the worksheet and graph out the progress of post-tsar Russia in your exercise books. After which answer the following questions:
